Design Within Reach holds an annual contest to design and create a miniature chair out of 2 Champagne corks, cages, caps, and foil. The judging was based on Craftsmanship, Creativity, Character, Innovative use of materials, Durability. My entry (pictured here) is titled “Swingin in the Chain.” See more views of my entry.

Well, the winners were announced and I didn’t get pictured. Honestly, I didn’t really see anything that innovative, but most were executed better than mine. If I had more time and materials I would have made a cleaner version. Oh well, there is always next year.
